Install Next.js

creative-ui components are React components built for the Next.js App Router. Start from a fresh app, or skip ahead if you already have one.

Create a new project

1.Run create-next-app

Replace my-app with your project name.

$ npx create-next-app@latest my-app

2.Answer the prompts

Say yes to TypeScript, Tailwind CSS and the App Router. Keep the default @/* import alias.

3.Start the dev server

$ npm run dev

Choosing Tailwind in the prompts already does the next step for you. If you did, go straight to Add utilities.

Existing project

Any React project with Tailwind CSS v4 works. Components import from @/components and @/lib/utils, so make sure tsconfig.json maps @/* to the project root.
